My name is Kayla, and I’m the founder of Ntaba Kitoko — a food business born in East London in 2020, built around a single dish that carries a whole culture within it.
Ntaba Kitoko was founded by my mother and I during the pandemic. What started as cooking for friends and family quickly grew into something much bigger — supplying restaurants, bars, lounges and events across London with our signature wood-smoked lamb.
We’re not your typical food business. We specialise in one thing and we do it exceptionally well. Our slow-smoked lamb is inspired by traditional Congolese cooking — packed with flavour, cultural soul, and a smoky depth that leaves a lasting impression.
It’s become a crowd favourite at events, especially weddings, where couples want something meaningful, different and truly delicious.
